The place

A balloon flight over the limestone karsts and the Nam Song river. Sunrise flights lift off around 06:00 and are the more reliable of the two for wind; sunset flights go up around 17:00. Total time including pickup and briefing is about two hours for 45 minutes in the air.
Good to know.
Flights are weather-dependent and cancellations are common in the wet season. Book the sunrise slot if your dates are tight — it has the better cancellation record.
